PSYCHOTHERAPY & COUNSELLING · LONDON AND ONLINE

A private, confidential space to think things through.

Vernet & Co is a private psychotherapy practice for adults, led by Marine Vernet, an Accredited and Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. With consulting rooms across London and secure online sessions worldwide, the work centres on relationships and sense of self: loneliness and isolation, infidelity and jealousy, attachment, narcissism in family or work settings, self-esteem, existential dilemmas, and psychosexual matters such as intimacy blocks or lack of desire. Anxiety and depression are also supported, especially where they intersect with these relational themes.

What I help with

The things people tend to bring here

See everything I help with

Anxiety

Racing thoughts, a body permanently braced for something, or a mind that will not switch off. We slow the loop down and look at what the anxiety is protecting you from.

Relationships & psychosexual therapy

The patterns that keep repeating with partners, family, colleagues or within yourself. We look at where they began, what they are still doing for you, and how to build something more sustaining.

Couples therapy in London: what to expect

Existential issues

Questions that do not have neat answers — about who you are, what matters, and how to live with uncertainty. A space to think aloud without being rushed toward a conclusion.

Depression

When everything has gone flat, effort costs more than it should, and the future feels narrow. We work gently toward days that feel liveable, meaningful and yours again.

How it works

A steady path, in three steps

Beginning therapy is often the hardest part. Here is exactly what happens.

1

A first call

A free, confidential 15-minute conversation to hear what brings you, answer your questions, and get a sense of whether I am the right person for the struggles you are bringing.

2

An initial session

A longer, in-depth meeting where we assess where you are and begin to shape the structure that will guide our future sessions — whether that means a fixed number or open-ended work.

3

A regular rhythm

Most people meet weekly, but I do not impose this. A fortnightly rhythm is possible too, because I am aware that therapy is a financial commitment and the pace has to be sustainable for you.

Fees: individual session 50 minutes £80 · couples session 60 minutes £100 · couples session 90 minutes £120 · clinical supervision individual session £50
